Because we are a corporate credit union and serve only credit unions, we have no other business that is more important. Over the years, this unique relationship has helped us develop a personal, innovative, highly customized package of liquidity, investment, and correspondent services for credit unions. In addition, Tricorp maintains low overhead and utilizes strong business partners to provide products and services at a price that is very competitive to alternate sources.

| A brief history |
• Tricorp was chartered in December 1975 and started operating in January 1976 as League Central of Maine FCU. It was originally organized to provide liquidity to credit unions as liquidity was very tight at that time.
• In May of 1979, Normand Nolette was hired as the first full time employee and assets were at $13 million.
• New Hampshire credit unions requested to part of Tricorp’s field of membership and the charter was amended in 1976 to allow New Hampshire credit unions to join League Central of Maine.
• Vermont credit unions were added to League Central’s field of membership in 1977.
• In 1987, League Central of Maine’s name was changed to Tricorp, to more accurately reflect its field of membership.
• Today, Tricorp enjoys a national field of membership with 14 employees supporting the corporate. |
